Jaime Brockett hails from Massachusetts and his early years as a musician were spent in the Worcester area. His music ranges from talking blues to country to folk. He can be silly or heartfelt, but he is always honest.

In 1968 Broadside magazine selected Jaime as the number one male Boston performer, he was also selected as the best new performer, and placed second in instrumentalist and third in the songwriter category. He is best known for his thirteen minute long adaptation of Leadbelly’s "The Titanic" which is titled "The Legend of the U.S.S. Titanic" and co-written with Chris Smither. He has recorded with, Ricky Skaggs, The Seldom Scene, Kevin Roth, Ramblin Jack Elliot and has shared the stage with Joan Baez, Richie Havens, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Tom Paxton, Jimmy Buffet and may other great artists.

As of 2012 he was still performing and living in New England. He is also the owner of Blues Palace Vintage Guitars in Perkinsville, VT.
